Blake and Lauren dreamed of getting married in Mexico. Due to COVID that wasn’t an option. Luckily a family member stepped in with the option of using their home for a beautiful, Spanish Backyard wedding. I am so thankful they did!

Blake and Laurens engagement session was back in 2019. It was a blast getting to know them but wouldn’t be photographing the wedding because they chose to get married out of the country. I do photograph weddings outside of the country and love to travel. Yet, sometimes it’s easier on couples to utilize the resort photographer or find someone local.

Due to COVID they had to push back the wedding date. So in November when I received a message from Lauren saying they were just going to get married locally and they remembered me…I was so happy. Although their plans weren’t what they originally wanted….I would get to spend the day with them celebrating, and this Spanish backyard wedding was so perfect!

Lauren put together the most beautiful, sheik wedding in just a matter of weeks! It was a chilly day but they made the most of it. They had wraps for the ladies and outdoor warmers for the patio reception. Paired up with a little bit of lighting and a Christmas tree in the house, this wedding was dreamy and romantic!

I am a super go with the flow person and know that whatever my clients choose is what’s right for them but I really love that these two didn’t want to continue waiting and went ahead and were married.

When you want to spend your life with someone….why wait? These two were so happy on their wedding day!
