Hi, I'm Kate and I am so glad you are here! I have been a wedding and portrait photographer for 16+ years! With that wedding experience I have learned that there is so much more to being a wedding and portrait photographer than just being a creative person.
I believe that as a wedding photographer it is my job to not only take amazing photos that you will love, but also to serve my couples with a stellar experience. I am a true believer in southern hospitality, going the distance for my couples, and making everyone feel like I am part of the family at the end of the day.
It is my job to be your advocate on the wedding day, to listen your wants and needs, to be "nice bossy" when I need to be so that family photos stay on task, and to collaborate with you to make sure that your wedding photos are exactly the photos you are happy to stare at forever and be reminded just how perfect your day was.

When I am not photographing weddings or going through the daily motions of wife and mom life, my family and I are making our way to a beach somewhere. We love cruise ships and visiting friends in Florida.
My favorite thing about beach travel is just sitting and listening to the sound of the waves while I watch my kids boogie board and build sand castles.

Our family loves movies! We love to go to the theatre together or sit at home all four of us (plus our pup Max) cuddle up in our bed watching the latest movies. We love series like Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, or musicals, family movies, and everything in between.

When my husband and I were first married we took in pup after pup, stray after stray. Once we had kids, especially a kiddo with allergies that all changed.
We were a dog free family up until two years ago when I came home from a wedding to my fur-ever best friend Max waiting to meet me. He is my sidekick. He lays on me during editing, and zoom meetings, walks with me in the mornings, and just makes our life complete.
