Prairie Creek Engagement Cobin + Heather

It’s an extra bonus when a client books as a referral and they get to see me work at a wedding. It’s so important to really get to know how your photographer works. Whether that be at your engagement session, bridal session, or someone elses wedding. For me, it made me more excited for Cobin + Heathers Prairie Creek Engagement session since I had already spent time with them chatting it up at a reception!

When they arrived we were all excited! I was only sad for a moment, because Cobin showed up with a hair cut…haha. I don’t know why I am always excited for grooms with longer hair. Seriously, I beg my husband to cut his everyday (but that’s another story). After a good explanation of it blowing in the wind too much and not being a ponytail kind of guy (that was my takeaway) I started smiling again!

Then it happened…their pup showed up! Not only did I have a perfect day for this Prairie Creek Engagement session, the park also had no other sessions happening. Pair that with the fact that Heather paid attention to my wedding guide, knew how to pose, had cute outfits, and Cobin was happy to be a part of the session. It gave me just about the most perfect engagement session to date!

At the end of the session I was putting my stuff up and I looked back and saw them taking this selfie on the bench! I though to myself…how cute are they…and also just what a cute moment. So, I had to get a photo of their selfie!
