We all know that our weather lately has been in the “it’s complicated” stage of all our relationships. Being a wedding photographer the weather can be a big stressor for brides, for us, for venues, etc. Let’s just say that for this Trickle Creek Wedding all my fingers and toes and everything else was crossed that we would have a beautiful day.
I had not been to Trickle Creek before and was so excited (you will see why in a minute)! They have a gorgeous white barn and HUGE beautiful Oak tree on the property that is the backdrop for most ceremonies. It was a dream.
I also had not met Erika or Jacob before the wedding day! They contacted me about a month in a half before their Trickle Creek Wedding to book me. They found photos I had taken at the lovely Diamond H3 venue which is across the street and thought we would be a perfect fit! I am so glad they found me because I agree.
I was obsessed with Erika’s details from the moment I saw them. I knew from finding out her wedding colors that we had the perfect ring box to match her details. It doesn’t always work out that way but it was a lucky lucky day!
The ceremony under this large Oak tree was so perfect.
They didn’t do a formal exit but they did dance on a cloud and then their wedding party surrounded them for a great moment.
